Kindergarten students may check out one book. -
First through fifth gradestudents may check out two books.
-Parents may check out two books at a time.
Seventh and Eighth grade may check out two books at a time
-Each book is checked out for a two-week period and may be renewed one time.
-Students are responsible for paying for lost or damaged books.                                                                                             -

Overdue fines are not charged.   

South Carolina Book Awards

All of our students have the opportunity to participate in theSouth Carolina Picture Book Award or South Carolina Children’s BookAward programs that are sponsored by the South Carolina Association ofSchool Librarians. Kindergarten, first, and second grade students willread/listen to the twenty Picture Book Award nominees and vote for theirfavorite book. Third through fifth graders may read at least five ofthe Children’s Book Award nominees by February to be eligible to votefor their favorite book. Students around the state vote for the favoritebook, and the winners are announced in March each year.
