I also have a 16 year old daughter who is a Junior at MCHS and is on the volleyball team and softball team. I love children and helping others I believe all children can learn if presented with the right opportunities to learn on their level. As educators we have to meet these students on their level in order for them to move up and be successful .
Our students are working on several different program to help increase their levels of learning. Thy are working with the Unique Learning Program where they are given a pretest  at the beginning of each monthly unit and a protest at the end in order to monitor progress. They also work daily on imagine learning which allows them to do activities on their level and move up in levels as the complete and master activities . The students are learning new basic sight words weekly to increase their comprehension and vocabulary development.
I am real please of the progress the students are making and some students have begun reading daily activities and are so proud of themselves.
